The prophetic word and the prophecies, given by the Spirit of God, ended with the Revelation. Paulo confirms 1st Cor. 13:
9- For we know in part, (a little of Jesus teachings, Paul, Peter and other disciples) and we prophesy in part. (Those whom didn’t have knowledge, then prophetized).
10- But when that which is perfect is come, (Bible) then that which is in part shall be done away. (Prophecies).
And continued that this was a boy’s thing, until becoming a man, and said the gifts that remained faith, hope and love.
But when came what’s perfect; the whole Bible who takes us to perfection, ceased the prophecy; and Paul encouraging the study of the word to Timothy in 2nd Tim. 3:
16- All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17- That the man of God may be perfect, |
throughly furnished unto all good works.
John spoke in his 1st Letter 5.7 that:
The father, the word and the Holy Spirit; those three are one.
Who doesn’t have the word (doesn’t fulfill), doesn’t have God nor his Spirit, the Spirit has a sword shaped by Him.
Paul confirms this in Ephesians 6. 10 to18, that in the fight with the Devil, we have to take God’s amour and:
17- And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Peter in his first letter was clear:1.
25- But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
God, with his Spirit, inspired Paul, Peter and the other writers to write the bible; now, at the end of times, God would never send his Spirit to men prophetizes and women preach, in pulpit. |
