Some of his teachings: John 10.
27: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves.
If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn the other to him. It is better to give than to receive.
If anyone wants to be first, He must make himself last, this fits.
You received free, give free.
Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. You shall love your neighbor as you love yourself.
At the book of Acts of the Apostles we can see them putting in practice Jesus teachings. But they didn’t shut their mouths even for the highest authorities of that time, who wanted them not to speak of Jesus being the Christ, and answered.
We can’t stop talking of that we see and hear, and is more important to obey God than men.
The apostle Paul created all the churches |
where today is the domain of Muslims, most of these cities had Judaic synagogues, and many Jews were converted, others persecuted. In the book of 2nd Cor. 11, Paul speaks of how he was beat up by the Jews and the Gentiles, and never saw a Christian beat up someone our fight back, and this way they grew and gathered Jews and Gentiles in only one faith and in only one God.
The Christian persecutions and the time of the fake prophets
But the greatest worried of Jesus and the apostles were with the fake prophets who would anarchize the church. Jesus in: Matt. 7.15-23.
And speaking about the ends of times. Matt. 24. 11-13 and 24.
And Paul speaks that will merge apostasy, the man of iniquity will be revealed, the son of perdition ready to sit in God’s shrine, showing off as he was God himself (2nd Thess 2- 1-12). And it only finishes with the arrival of Christ. |
