The apocryphal books of the catholic are the ones that speak the most about idolatry, so no Catholic has excuse, in the Day of the judgment, with God there is no other way, is a difficult decision; the Christians are always between the wall and the sword.
We have to protest like Luther; reform the Church like John Wesley; take the report of Gamaliel; the nobility of those from Berea; and the example of Paul, who lost everything and was considered as trash to win Christ.
With God you don’t play, you can’t stand with your arms crossed, mild on the wall; the time for decision is now, the Bible says many times today, if you hear his voice don’t harden your heart.
Daniel as much as John in Rev.22 spoke of the end, advises and alerted all:
11- He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

10- Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
You have to take the example of Jesus, who said to his disciples, who wanted that he eat in Jacobs well. John 4.

If you take the example of Jesus and transport it to the future (Day of do judgment), and can get back to the present, I assure you that He won’t waste time with the small things of the world, now it the time for his servants (angels) separate the wheat from the chaff, purify the church now, like Jesus said to Judas: what you intend to do, do it quickly;
