23 confirms the prophecy against the bad shepherds and fake prophets and the promise of Jesus himself, to gather his sheep with the church of Philadelphia. To better understand the text, read the whole chRevter 23:
20- The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.
Is in these days that we understand the perfect plan of God for the whole world.
Jesus is the shepherd of only one heard.
Jesus also tells us in John 10 that He was the good Shepherd; it’s mainly related to this time of the end.
8- All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
10- The thief cometh not, but for to steal,

and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.
11- I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
12- But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
Jesus in this text alerts us about four characters that are in church.
The thief, this is the worst, is the fake prophet, with his heretic doctrine, to steal the faith and the soul.
The robber , is the one that uses church for commerce, like Jesus said in the purification. (Transformed my Father’s house of prayers into a house of business, in a den of robbers).
With tithe, bazaars, parties and promotions and with everything that is forbidden in the word, that uses everything to extort money from the ignorant.
