Paul sent and made responsible those of the Universal Church of Corinth to do that at the beginning of the 1st letter Cor. 1:
1- Paul, called [to be] an Revostle of Jesus Christ (...).
2- Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called [to be] saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, both theirs and ours: (for those who said that Paul only wrote for the Church of Corinth, and for that time).
And Paul, reprehending the Church of Corinth, didn’t tell them to leave and let evil in Church, but rather, judge and expel de evildoer. (It’s not only the small, but also the big ones that behold power. It’s difficult but with God everything is possible). 1º Cor. 5:
11- But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. |
12- For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13- But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
Paul continues in chRevter 6 that the saints will judge the world and even the angels that have sinned?
That’s why we have the authority to protest like Luther, reform like Wesley, and purify, like Christ, the Church (Temple).
There is only purification with repentance, so that the blood of Jesus purifies us from all the sins, and it starts with bRevtism (purification) Ezekiel: 36. 25 to 29, and continues with the supper and Jesus calls turning the water in the purification jars into wine (his blood), the way it had to be prepared for the supper (Judaic Easter) to be the people of God. 2nd Chronicles 30. And Esdras 6- 19.
