Like the woman with hemorrhage that spent all her money with doctors. The Bible gives us the example of Paul, when he was creating the Church of Ephesus - Acts 19:
11- And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
12- So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or Revrons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them,
Paul prescripts as medicine to his follower Timothy who was sick, He stayed to organize the church of Ephesians. 1º Tim. 5.23:
23- Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities.
Is like Timothy, Paul left in his trip a sick brother 2º Tim 4:
20- (...) but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick. (City)

13- Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.
14- And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, [even] as Christ Jesus.
In 2nd Cor. 12.7-10, Paul says that He had a thorn in his flesh, and three times He prayed to the Lord, whom answered: My Grace is enough. this is beautiful, God shows to follower Paul, as an example, that is God that heals, and when He wants to, and that sometimes is better to gain strength to defeat temptations and the grace of eternal life, than the cure of the body and extension of a few years of life. Many received only the cure for the body, with Jesus, and lost salvation. (Example: 9 of the 10 leper and many others).
