The Sadducees, that didn’t believe in resurrection, angels or spirits. Are like the conservatives: lazy, rich and materialistic of today, but that dominate with power and Church.
The Zealots, which trusted more in the power of their own strength, and used the sword to free themselves from oppression; of Roman government. Are like the progressive of Theology of Freedom, that are not worried with the spiritual, or churches internal problems, they only get involved with worlds social problems (problems that Jesus never worried with, since the Christian has to live in any regime or situation).
And there still are the Herodians (from Herodes party) we have a lot of them today; the political religious. They all didn’t get along between them; however they united, even with their greatest enemy at the time (the situation). Governor Pilate from Rome, to kill the Christ, which so much expected, as Peter said relating to Psalm 2 in: Acts. |
4 -26- The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
Who accepted were a few simple Jews, that didn’t care to be expelled from the synagogue and whipped, or even killed. Now it will happen again, and the heathen (Christians) will reject? So who is going to accept are the humble and simple, that will be persecuted by fake Christians inside the church of Laodicea (synagogue of Satan).
God will save the humble and poor that, listen and follow the example set by his poor and humble Son. Isaiah 29:
18- And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
19- The meek also shall increase [their] joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
God asks us for 3 things in: Micah 6.
