And confirms in Ephesians 5: 26-That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, (only by the Bible). 27- That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Timothy represents all the leaders, and even the young, of all times, whom fulfill and make fulfill the Bible in his church. He proofs this in the next 2 prophetic texts. 1st Tim. 4- 1- Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2- Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; And in: 2nd Tim. 3- 1- This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2- For men shall be lovers of their own selves, |
covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3- Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4- Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; It´s clear that Paul is speaking of the last time, and the last days, making responsible and alerting Timothy of all times, mainly now, in this time of the Church of Laodicea, with an easy gospel, with healings, prosperity and blessing. Paul shows us, in all his epistles, a gospel of struggle and persecution and gives us the example in all 2nd Cor. 11, and in 2nd Tim. 3, he puts all without doubt nor maybe. 12- Yea, and all that will live godly (Saints) in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.(Certainly). 13- But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. And then speaks to all of us about the Bible; |
