He was expelled from the Church and forbidden to practice his Pastoral activities, and to preach in the parish; this is why he speaks his famous phrase: “The world is my Parish”.
Without ever leaving the Churchm (Church that was in the hands of the middle class, since Luther), or created a new denomination, he took the gospel to the poor, as Paul and Jesus did.
He had to be a simple preacher; promoted the “Universal Priesthood (only doctrine in the Canon of the Methodist Church with Biblical reference.)
Of all believers”, established by God, and not by men, as Peter Prophetized in 1st Pet. 2: 5- Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
9- But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a

peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises ofhim who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
10- Which in time past [were] not a people, but [are] now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
Jesus established and made Peter responsible of the Church, of the 1st Shack. In Matt. 16.13-23, after speaking of the parable of the lost sheep, He speaks about how to treat a brother in the Church, He makes responsible of this Church do 2° Shack, the holy and royal priest, that Peter prophetized; and Jesus repeats the same authority that gave to Peter, also gave to the faithful members of the Church. In Matthew. 16.19 are similar to 18:
18- Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
